Verna Lemon
Well-sized, elongated fruit. Pointed ends. Rough, thick skin. The juicy flesh has relatively low acidity and almost no seeds.

Primofiori Lemon
Slightly smaller than the Verna variety with a smoother, thinner rind. No neck at the stalk end. Small, pointed nipple at blossom end. The pulp contains a great deal of very acidic juice and an average number of seeds. The winter production is the most popular: from December to March.

Harvesting begins as soon as the lemons contain at least 28 – 30% juice.

Storage and transport

Ideal storage conditions for lemons:
– Ideal temperature: 8-10ºC up to 6 months depending on: the cultivar, ripeness when harvested, production area, and length of storage and shipment periods.
– Ideal relative humidity: 90 – 95%.
